NBA 2K21 Patch?

I pre-ordered the Mamba Edition for Xbox One digitally and there was already a 75GB update that I downloaded. Anybody know what that was about? First time doing a digital pre-order.

They are the GB of the whole game, practically you have already downloaded it, when the servers open you can play it

I Pre digitally reserved the Mamba Edition is it coming out tonight( like the deluxe Madden you could play 3 days early) or before Friday? Or is it you can't play until Thursday night?

It seems to me that the patch is to add the updates for the 20-21 season, ie the disc version doesn’t have the Hornets New Jersey’s and court design.
