Question from a RTTS MLB TS 19 player

One of my biggest pet peeves with this game are these decisions you have to make before the next pitch. Things like Don't make an out on the first 4 pitches. Only swing at pitches in the zone. Get on base with a hit over the infield. Did this feature carry over to MLB 20 or did they scrap it or improve it to make more sense? It's all so random and a lot of the options are so random that it's affecting my approach.

Re: Question from a RTTS MLB TS 19 player

They did carry it over but it has been more situational for me (completed 1 season). It will usually pop up with men on base and you can choose from lesser ones (advance the runner) to more significant ones (hit a homerun) and obviously your stats will increase more with the harder goal. There are some goals to 'make contact with every swing' or 'only swing at pitches inside the zone' but each time those have come up I could have picked something else (ie hit a single). Hope that helps.
