Is there an easy way to edit NCAA easy?

I have tried NCAA editor, I've got it to work a couple of times, now it does not work at all. Now all I get are corrupted files. I read all the time about EA DB editor and things like that, I loaded some of that stuff, I'm a novice. I don't understand a lot of how all of that works. I play on PS3, I have a digital copy on my system. So I cannot do any of the modding that some of you are doing. I simply just want to set up the season to play with a 10 or 11-game season with just two conferences that will be playing football. What is the easiest way to go about this?

If you are wanting to play only the conferences playing in the fall, you can't. There are too many things that are hard-coded into the game code that will cause an attempt to play a partial league to fail.
