Wonder if they will even have Live Events .... since not Ultimate Team ... I'm sure they will but too bad they didn't have it ready in time for this weekend.

Want to get my pick'ems going strong from the start

Didn't expect a Live Event COMPETITION but at least was hoping the Live Event would be up at launch today ... oh well

Is the pickem coming back? I haven’t seen anything to suggest it is and with so much of the top 15 missing, what’s the point?

I am pretty sure They won’t be doing the pick em’s this year. Two reasons:

1) most of the rewards were tied to ultimate team and there is no ultimate team this year.

2) this roster is incredibly shallow. You can only replicate about 20% of real life fights with this roster. Thus limiting the play your prediction mechanic

Live events was my favorite feature in ufc 3. I didn't even care for the UT rewards, it was just really fun setting my picks every week and seeing how I did. They could easily add it in and have the rewards be coins or just no reward at all.

The 2 things that kept me coming back to 2 and 3 were ultimate team and live events. Such a weird decision to remove them. Blitz is fun but cannot see the longevity in it. I really really hope a new mode is added, something like an mma management mode, something that will keep me coming back after a couple of career modes as I'm not a big online ranked player.

If you look at the challenges in the Player Hub, there's a UFC 252 category. My guess is that's what's replacing the pickem for each real life card.

Thought that as well except some of the challenges look boring and rewards not with it, pity.
