Accuracy needs to be tuned down.

A lot of people are complaining that the stand up feels like a spam fest and most attribute this to the stamina being too high. While I agree that the stamina should be tweaked (lowered) I think punch accuracy is at least equally if not more to blame.

I have spent the majority of my time trying to master movement an sways and create a counter punching/elusive style. What i notice is that many strikers with long reaching strikes or high accuracy ignore the rules of the sway system. For instance knowing that someone is only throwing straights and hooks ducking in a timely manner should evade fairly easily however high accuracy strikers will land the straights unless you are all the way down before the strike comes out. An even bigger problem is the back sways. while you should be punished with straights they should be avoiding hooks and uppercuts but longer and more accurate strikers are routinely blasting you even when using the sways with great timing. lastly the side sways work the best but can still occasionally get caught when a strike should have been slipped. Also when swaying to the side away from the hook it should be considered as rolling with the punch and actually do less damage then a punch landing at neutral.

Theres too much consistency with the strikes, players movement doesnt work well atm, neither does headmovement. Strikes also dont just miss there is always a consitant range they land at.

Agreed. Head movement is nerfed because even when a strike should be slipped it still connects.

Yeah it seems to me it is an accuracy issue as sometimes it will even register as a huge hit when it was clearly a wiff, or register as a head kick when it hit the torso. But even if they just increased the responsiveness of the sways, it might help the initial evasion and be better but you still would not be able to backsway hooks and uppercuts from too many fighters.

Is that true? If so that’s crazy. It should be the complete opposite.

That was my experience, but I have to update and say that I played a bunch yesterday on a second ea pass and was dominating people using sways and counters. I almost feel like the game was tuned under the hood without any mention of it because I am a counter puncher and my skill went from decent to great yesterday.

But you know there is always that moment in a game were everything starts clicking for you and you fully understand the system and how to operate within it so it could just have been that. Either way as it stands right now i feel like I can have a ton of success using head movement.

I know in the last game if you were the taller fighter then ducking was pretty much useless in most contexts
