EA UFC 4: Geoff Harrower Strikes Again

I just saw the UFC 4 trailer and wow... Just wow.

I couldn't be more disappointed in the little bit of underwhelming gameplay I saw. This truly will be more of the same that we all have seen for almost the past decade.

I know Geoff got a lot of love when he announced his departure from EA and these UFC games. However, I was pretty happy. I feel that these games have been poorly received by the general public for good reason; they are portly balanced, incomplete upon release, and devolve into a game of who can so the spammiest/cheesiest BS the most effectively (online).

When I read last week that Geoff had worked on 75% of this game's development I sh"t a brick. I knew what was coming and knew it wasn't going to be anything different that we have seen in the past.

This game will be broken (at least for online players) upon release and will require several patches to become reasonably playable.

Maybe this is a good thing though, I simply will not go through this again with another EA UFC game. Maybe I'll just spend more time outside hahaha!

So your whole point of this post is to bash a game you haven't played and someone loved by the fans? Cool story bro.

Facts. Somebody that all the other devs LOVED and appreciated for all of his efforts, going above and beyond for the game , listening to the community, getting all of those patches done working with the other devs who were active.

Won't be surprised to see this thread deleted soon, what an unnecessary bash at Geoff.

We shall all mourn the day when the great Pedro_Guap declared he will not buy a video game. Truly a great loss for this community.

While i dont agree with like 90% of what TS said, if this man is responsible for 75% of decision making of this game then maybe its for the best that he is gone because some of these decisions are just extremely poor and careless almost to the point of being reckless...

This CAF debacle is a joke, the previous EA UFC game had one of the worst CAF systems packed into a UT mode ever..... no wonder they scrapped the whole thing.. because no one played it cuz it was so bad....its like cheating on a test and then busting yourself that you are cheating... Well DUH, if you make such a horrible UT mode going from UT 2(people liked that) to UT 3(everyone hated it) and then tell us that no one played your horrible UT mode so you will scrap it... its literally accomplishing what you wanted in the first place while managing to blame the players for it.....

I dont know who is responsible for that area of the games development, but they need to be fired or let go, because what ever data you have or whom ever you are listening to for feedback is not giving you accurate information when it comes to this UT mode, the CAF system and what CAF players actually want.

Your talking about the trailer which okay I’ll give you that because it was hectic but if you seen all the info ,changes ,screenshots ,features and etc you would be surprised like man of us are. If not then Idk what to tell u lol. We shouldn’t bash devs , I’ve done it before so I’m not innocent but looking back I would rather think before I speak and try to help rather then bash and **** on the hard work being done. Look around the forums before judging
