Challenges @ 1st Gone?

Have close call challenges been taken out of the game with one of the recent patches. Since release the CPU hasn't gotten the chance to challenge any close plays. Now recently it seems the are gone for the user as well within the last 2 or 3 patches. I saw a few here and there this year but it had been way less than what I saw last year. Yes I've checked my settings and it all looks good. Thoughts?

I have had the same experience. I have not seen any in a good bit. Rare enough that I too questioned whether they were still in or not.

Do you still hold square to challenge? Ive held square, tapped repeatedly, and neither has worked. I remember you cant challenge at the end of a inning, but every time I want a second look, I cant get it to engage.

My last game it just popped up without me pressing anything

Ah ok. I do remember that from past versions. Maybe I am trying to look at close plays that arent really as close I think (visually) therefore it wont trigger the challenge.

Okay as long as people are still seeing them maybe I've just been unlucky for an unusually long stretch. I'll re-check my settings make sure they are all good and then see what happens. Not the biggest of deals.
