Use of tokens?

Should I use these tokens I’ve collected? I don’t have much MT points. Spent what I had.

What’s the best use of these tokens?

I have only played MT domination as well single player vs. the computer.

If you need MT, it isn't worth working up the token reward market at this point. No really good rewards at this point in the game til you get to the Diamond board. So, best use of these tokens is to buy Lights Out packs. Many of the cards are quick sell fodder, but you have a shot at Amythest Arenas (worth about 1500), Diamond Durant (not sure how much he's worth at this point, but it's a decent chunk of change), and PD Peja (worth about 7-8k). Plus the other stuff you get out of the pack, there's plenty of value there that'll get you some MT!

And what about the emerald etc boards. I never really understood why I would spend tokens there? I need 10 emeralds to open the next tier. And on and on. Or maybe I don’t understand how it works?

A few purposes for it. Early on, those players can make a big impact. Emerald Sura, Bradley, Sapphire Muresan and others were very helpful for the early parts of domination. Now, though, they have little use given that you can buy better cards on the AH for very cheap. The other purpose would be to work up to the higher tiers, but since you're starting so late in the year, that won't be worth it for you. So, the Lights Out packs provide the best "bang" for your tokens. Only 6 tokens each and there's usually at least around 1500-2000 in MT value total in each one with potential for more.

Thanks for your time. Much appreciated. I was t getting much response to questions on another board BUT as you mentioned I’m late to the game. But I still find it fun I just wish there was some dummy guide. There are so many different cards for the same player. I have no idea what’s what. But that’s fine.

One last question. Not related to this. In MT domination and single player can I change coaches, uniforms etc? I’ve looked around and guessing no?

To change uniforms you need to go to "Franchise" in the lineups screen. You can change court, coach, playbook, jerseys and ball there, but your selected home jersey will always be your home jersey (til you change it) and your selected away jersey will always be your away jersey

No worries! I'd take a look at a No Money Spent series on YouTube. Bio2k has a good one that walks through a lot of this
