M21 Teaser Trailer

I posted this in the announcement thread, but figured it would need it's own. The M21 teaser trailer is out. It's not in an embed-able form, so you have to go to the link below

It looked like the animations were smoother and more realistic. It also looked like the tackling was better. Looked like the ball carriers had a sense of avoidance by attempting to go under or around tackles.

Re: M21 Teaser Trailer

I really like the duck-under reach for the pylon at the end, and looking forward to more options running, rushing the passer and what has been updated or changed beyond the marquee features.

Looking forward to the new uniforms and stadiums in part because I'm not sure I'll be able to even use my season tickets yet and see them in person.

Re: M21 Teaser Trailer

Looks promising!

Judgement will obviously be reserved until we actually see how these things are implemented, but I’d be happy with some core gameplay things like tackling and pass rush being cleaned up, some cool (and hopefully balanced) new abilities, and a handful of other minor improvements that will likely be announced over the coming weeks and months.

I know a bunch of people will moan because they haven’t completely overhauled the game from the ground up but I think the little that we’ve seen looks decent.

Re: M21 Teaser Trailer

I would like to know more about the new pass rush controls.

Specifically, I want to know if those controls were thematically designed around the rusher keeping the blocker's hands away from him, rather than the current pass rush control design where the rusher must engage with the blocker.

I'm interested in this because in real life if a tackle gets his hands on an edge rusher, the rush is over. In Madden 20, however, that's where the rush begins most of the time lol.

Some of those new edge-rusher-beat-blocker animations looked pretty nice.

I like seeing the players have the awareness to reach for the end zone. I also like seeing the strip sack, but if it happens too regularly then it will cause a lot of frustration.

I'm not really sure I realized that before, really how it is now would be like only being able to spin or juke after the defender has made contact while tackling you.
