Milestones

Was disappointed tonight when I had a pitcher in my franchise win his 300th game. There was a mention of it early in the game as a milestone watch, then I kept him in all the way to finish it and nothing. I've seen ones for 3000 hits and 400/500 home runs. Was hoping for a clip for 300 wins too.

Any others that people have seen??

The game is missing a lot things like this, the personal touches. This series has gotten very stale imo. Needs some fresh ideas.

Re: Milestones

Yeah, the game doesn't do nearly as well with milestones as it should. Some it pauses the action and they make a few remarks, which is great, but others they totally ignore.

A few years ago, I managed to get over 400 strike outs with one of my pitchers, and the game didn't say anything about it. While thats not the all time record, its the most since the 1800's, so you think that there would have been something when I passed the 373 that Nolan Ryan had in 1973, which is the modern record.

I'm on pace to challenge the single season RBI record with Kris Bryant in my current franchise, so we'll see if it does anything regarding that.

Re: Milestones

I hit 75 homers in franchise this year and after a short clip and crowd and player ovation that was it and not a mention of it after for the rest of the year or during the postseason that huge all time record breaking year. That was a real let down for me because the rest of the time I play franchise for the this year and on to the next it won’t even be recognized. I fully agree with the fans that think this part of the game has gotten really stale. Attention to detail to all time mlb and player records in franchise mode I thought would be a given for this game but looks like I was just giving SDS to much credit for what would be they would include with this years franchise mode.

I think they probably have ideas. what they need is somebody running the show who wants to push the mode onward and upwards regardless of what they think the lowest common denominator would rather pay to play ‘‘that other mode’’.

I broke the RBI record in RTTS and there was no mention.
