Should abilties be on or off for a sim CFM?

I am just curious about how franchise guys view Madden abilities. Take a second to vote and leave your thoughts if you are so inclined.

I turn them off because I feel certain ones can make the games out of control.

I think regular abilities are great, but don’t like the way that X-Factor abilities are implemented. I don’t think elite players differentiate themselves adequately without abilities, so I prefer to leave them to m even though it’s not ideal.

Off and it isnt even close.We played 9 seasons in my league with abilities on. The game becomes about playing through abilities instead of playing football.

We just started a summer league with updated rosters and abilities off. Much more enjoyable experience.

Always on. I have no interest in playing Madden 20 with abilities off, I think they are on the whole a value add to the game.

I do think abilities get a little out of control in franchise mode because breakout scenarios are too isolated (and frankly they are kinda easy to cheese), but player editing is my way around that.

I turn the abilities off. I think the system, in theory is good, but the application is horrible.
You should not have to do X in order for an ability to happen. Also, so many of the abilities are overpowered and, in my opinion, ruin the game.

100%. I think some of the SS abilities are a bit overpowered (like Joystick), but i just re-roll any of my players that get that one. Abilities are huge for the game and make a big difference in the CPU actually being a challenge.

Off. I like the idea of them but they caused way to many issues and they are really unbalanced.
