Finally!

I've been playing The Show for years and this is the first year a good outfielder actually matters! First, the outfields are actually the proper size dimension for the players. In years past, most balls hit to Right Field, the fielder would take two freaking steps and made most of the catches on line drive balls hit, not this year! Having Kevin Kiermaier means something this year! Kudos to the MLB team!

Re: Finally!

my outfield defense is umm... offensive to my sensibilities. I miss Adam Jones circa 6-7 years ago.

Man, when you guys had Jones and Markakis, that outfield was no joke!

.280, 25, 80...automatic! He is also a class act. I wish he had Hof numbers because he is a HoF quality person. One of my favorites from the last decade.

Re: Finally!

my outfield isnt terrible, I just dont have elite defense. glad the Studio tuned it this way in 20. forget adventures in baby-sitting, adventures in the outfield is where it's at. what I wound up doing was playing my leftfielder Santander in right. Mancini now mans first instead of right. Chris Davis is playing leftfield. Austin Hays is serviceable in center but he's no Willie Mays Hayes. He's more Austin Willie Maybe Hays

I wish they would update the forum so I could LOL this. I traded Meyers and C.J. Abrams from the Padres for Eloy Jimenez after 6 games because Meyers can't hit but I knew it was morally wrong. I won't do that in my true Franchise but I would like to know how Mancini plays in the game...is he worth the investment? I have Tatis so I don't need Abrams (trade bait!!!).

only if you need a first baseman, he just doesn't have the arm strength to man RF in the Show. He can play LF but his highest value is at firstbase.

Re: Finally!

So, In my Rays Franchise, I'm giving Kiermaier a couple games rest and I have Manuel Margot playing CF. He's no slouch, but Kiermaier is a different breed of CF, The Gold Gloves Matter!
Plus, I saw playing The Rangers and their CF taking bad routes which led to extra bases on some hits for me. Loving this game.
