NCAA 14 Could really use some help. PLEASE :)

So, i always used rosters from here with my NCAA dynasties back in the day, but lately i've been craving dynasty mode. I dug out my 360 and my copy of NCAA 14 and im ready to go...at least I thought I was.

I never messed with any db editing back then, just loaded up the latest rosters and played, but now im interested in messing with some more stuff and i spent all last night browsing and reading the forums (a lot to catch up on in like 5+ years of being away!) There is probably a method to the madness that makes sense to people that have stayed up on this stuff over the years, but as someone that is getting back into this after over 5 years its not very user friendly...

So here is where I'm at


1. I've got my head wrapped around how to make the 4-team playoff work, so i think im good there.

2. here is where I start to get confused. In my catching up, youve got references to tools made by Xan...now I see

- Generic EA Roster Editor
- Dynasty Editor v1
- ive also seen reference to a generic db editor, but i believe that to be the same as the generic roster editor? like its just one big tool?

Now, whats the difference between the Generic Editor, and the Dynasty editor? I've also seen mentioned in the threads that the latest version of the editor was from 2015...but as far as I can find in any of Xan's threads, his links are to files uploaded in 2013. Does anyone have access to the latest files to download?

3. I also saw a post, that I can't find anymore but im still looking. Someone posted a link to a file that supposedly brought the game up to date with the 20-21 season? As in...all time records for teams, etc?...I thought that was interesting, but now that I can't find it, idk how it is supposed to work. I assume this would be a generic dynasty file that has been edited to reflect all games played since the game was originally released in 2013.

4. I also saw a link to making a "website" that follows your dynasty, which I thought was a really cool idea, but the links in pocketscout's signature are broken. Anyone that can help with that?



Basically, if anyone could point me in the direction to download the latest version of the tools i'll need to edit my dynasty, and maybe just a basic breakdown of the different tools i mentioned in question 2. I know my way around these kinds of tools pretty well, and i think ill learn pretty quickly on the fly, but just struggling to get started
