Season Length?
Anyone know if there is the ability to have shortened season lengths in Franchise Mode? I believe we have lost this since season mode was removed. 162 is just too many, and my house doesn't like to simulate games.

You cannot play less than 162 games in franchise.

It wasn't mentioned in the streams as being an option for '20 so I'm going to take an educated guess and say that they have not added adjustable season lengths into franchise for '20

I thought maybe with them adding it in another mode (custom leagues), showing that they have taken the time to develop alternative shortened schedules, they would have given us a bone and thrown it back into offline Franchise mode.

lol I'm totally opposite. while there are seasons I play every pitch and at-bat, there are other seasons where I do a little simming. but the 162 is non-negotiable in the ol' Caulfield household. 162 is perfect (though 154 would be a welcome addition). I cant envision a season where the HR champ won with less than 20 homers, or the Cy Young winner had 5 wins. if I wanted to play a 30 game season I'd play the spring training games, then stop there




but to each his own.

They could have easily incorporated custom leagues into franchise
