Not sure how the Washington Capitals didn't make your list of winners. Added Brenden Dillon from the Sharks for picks, which slots in a far better DFD partner for John Carlson (esp. now that Kempny's luster has faded so fast, due to that torn hammy last season).

Then they added Kovalchuk for a 3rd... who will add some serious scoring punch to our 3rd line.

It's almost carbon copy of what the Pens did in adding Marleau and Zucker. Yet Pens are "winners" and Caps don't even merit a mention? Curious.

But maybe I'm just biased...
