Adjusting Overall Rating Number - PS2

I am playing NCAA Football 08 on PS2. Is it possible to adjust the Overall Rating Number for a created player? Is it possible to adjust the Overall Rating Number when I change a player's position who was loaded on the game by EA Sports (i.e. I change a player's position from WR to CB)?

Can’t you edit their ratings?

When I adjust any of the ratings (awareness, Agility, Carrying, etc.), the Ovr Rating remains at 40. I thought I may have overlooked something.

Oh, it always does that if it isn’t their primary position. If you change their position it will correspond with the ratings.

I think that’s what you mean.
