Sev 1 Bug Alarm! Removing Hail Mary breaks the game

Are there any devs I can tag? This is really bad. Its so bad I would not suggest trying to repro it.



I decided to add and subtract plays in my playbook. I wanted to add Wildcat to the Titans. They use a sort of Wildcat with Henry at QB so I decided to try it in Madden. I saved Wildcat in the edited playbook but it is never added to the game. That is a one bug but it can wait. I noticed that the Titans had 8/8 formations so I assumed that the reason Wildcat didn't show up is because had too many formations. I decided that since Hail Mary never works I'll take it out. Wildcat still doesn't show.

I took that roster online. I was trailing late in a game online. Hail Mary passes were recommended. I didn't have them so they showed up blank. I have multiple videos but this should be easy to repro with just the steps. I'm seemingly forced to call this blank Hail Mary play. Nothing else gave me the option to select a play except for Recent plays but there is no workaround. Whatever you select breaks the game. Its either a desync or you will have to forfeit because you will run plays without players on the field (I have video).


Steps
1. Edit a custom playbook. Playbook:Titans default (edited multiple times)
2. Add the wildcat formation, Remove the Hail Mary formation.
3. Select the playbook with Hail Mary removed
4. Progress until you are in a situation where Hail Marry is recommended.

Behavior: The game will either desync or be unplayable. No known workaround.

Note: When I try to readd Hail Mary, its not available in formations. This is global too. Its not there with any team.

Creating a new playbook fixed it. You can't remove Hail Marys from a new playbook

I don’t know what’s causing it, but I’ve been trying to play my head to head game in my online franchise for a few days now. Every time we play we get kicked out with a desync error in the 1st quarter. Is there any fixes for this?!!

ive never found away to delete hail mary so props to you for that

Both of you should reset your formation subs. I had this issue and turned out I had a formation sub that resulted in one of my players being in two positions at the same time and the game apparently didn't like that. Once I reset them, I never had problems with Desync again.
