Not a huge fan. I have the Browns in a sim based cfm and OBJ doesn't have/get access to the cleats so I assume it's not for existing cfm. It shouldn't be in the game IMO keep that stuff in MUT

Keep that stuff out of franchise mode, equipment that gives attribute boosts should be confined to MUT. Unless of course they just want to bring more equipment like this and more ridiculous abilities then just re-brand the game as NFL Street or NFL Blitz because the direction it's heading pretty soon it's going to be closer to those games than a football sim.

Wish we could use them in franchise mode. Minus the boosts of course. Madden needs to do more w shoes imo. Why can’t we choose players shoe colors individually?? Not all players wear white or black shoes for one team. Also, be nice if we could do players individually with like, black with team color 1 or 2 etc. also, might help if madden had all the team colors right... (chiefs)

I'd like to see equipment come with attribute trade offs... Like a brace coming with +2inj but -1agi etc. Players use equipment in the nfl to help or improve their game but I don't like pure boosts. (EA would also need to bring back injuries causing loss of inj for it to matter too).

I'm worried this could be monetised and unless it's an idea that's fleshed out like above I'm worried if it was in Cfm.

I am curious if applying boosts to equipment will take on a life of its own in Madden 21? Many games have items that boosts character abilities.

Maybe something like this will be added to the career mode where we will be able to choose other positions outside QB, and as we progress we can win special equipment?

Maybe monetizing CFM which may bring bigger changes to the mode?

Good point, EA is sitting on a gold mine with us yearning franchise players. I'd pay anything for a Head Coach DLC. Take what's in NFL HC '09 and merge with Madden graphics/engine and I'd be a happy boy.
Just do NOT micro-transaction player development or things that are currently in the game.
