Is there any way to avoid Junior Eligible players from being sent to CHL?

I called up a player from the AHL to cover an injury and when I tried to send them back down it says "Junior Eligible players must be sent to the CHL and are cannot be called back up to the NHL". What's up with that? Is there any way around this? I need the roster spot but I also want to be able to call the player up later.

That are the NHL rules. No way to send Junior Players drafted from the CHL back to the AHL.

The player I'm sending down (Morgan Frost) was even recently sent back down to the AHL in real life.

There is a mistake with some Players. A bug in NHL 20. Michael Rasmussen and some other the same. Players elder than 20 need not to go back to CHL. You can send them up and down from AHL to NHL and back.

20.

Meanwhile, Joel Farabee is 19 and I've moved him up and down freely a bunch.

Farabee is freshman and was drafted from the US College League. He can move up and down with 19. The rules under 20 years not to go up and down between NHL and AHL is valid only for CHL drafted Players.

Yeah, something is definitely wrong.....I had Jack Studnicka on Providence of the AHL and I called him up to Boston when I had a rash of injuries.

When I went to send him back to the AHL, I was forced to send him back to the OHL. He is definitely AHL eligible as he has played this season for Providence and Boston in real life
