Training for Hidden Dev

If I have a player with Superstar Hidden Dev, does he progress at Superstar level before the 500 snaps or does that progression kick in after his trait is unhidden?

I ask because I’m curious if it’s better to develop an older know SS or work my hidden players?

They should gain XP based on thier Dev, even if hidden.

I had a what turned out to be a superstar with hidden development and based on the amount of upgrades he got I’d say he developed at the SS rate the entire time

Players who have hidden Dev have the same XP thresholds for Overall increase as superstars until it’s revealed

I have a spreadsheet of what amount of XP needed to gain to the next overall point by age and overall if anyone would find it useful

What happens to the player with the hidden dev, if he doesn't play at all his rookie year...

I was under the impression that the players don't earn more XP based on their dev trait, but that their "level up" threshold is lower based on dev trait. For example, two identical players would earn the same points, but the one with the higher dev trait would qualify for an "upgrade" more frequently.
