Match Coverages and Ratings

Do plays like C3 match or C4 quarters draw on players’ zone or man ratings?

I ask because I initially thought they would draw on zone ratings but noticed that the C3 scheme and quarters scheme call for slot corners, and these seem to be balanced types who lean a bit toward man.

So to run match coverages, you need guys proficient in both zone and man, as both ratings can factor into a single play?

This is an interesting question I've had since they put match coverages in to the game. I've yet to get an answer that can be confirmed. I wonder if someone that plays on PC can get in to that part of the code and verify how it's working under the hood.
