Fire Manager

Hello all, can you fire the manager in Show 2019? FOr instance I was wanting to fire Maddon from Cubs and hire Ross? Is that possible?

Yes go to the manager screen in franchise and I believe you press square to fire the manager.

Adding on to what countryboy said, you can fire Maddon but you can’t hire Ross to replace him like real life, there’s a chance I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure he’s not in the game. He’ll be in the Show 20 as the Cubs manager. Unfortunately you have to wait till the next game in this situation if you really want the new real life manager since we still can’t edit or create coaches.

Thanks for the input. So if I carried my franchise over to MLB would Ross then be the manager even if I dont fire Maddon?

Thanks for clearing that up. I only focused on the firing part and didn't even think about him wanting to add Ross to the team.

No. If you don't fire Maddon, he will still be your manager in the carryover.
