Fifa as realistic as it gets

I play sport videogames, for what soccer concerns, I use Fifa and Pes. People usually talk how realistic Pes is and on the other side how arcade the Fifa gameplay is but I tell you one thing, sometimes Fifa can be so realistic, look at the link I shared with you. Is Fifa realistic or maybe these players wanted to play like in Fifa? Just share your thoughts with me.

Especially the first goal, Sassuolo's defense was so passive and Gomez just dribbled everybody, isn't it Fifa 20?

Re: Fifa as realistic as it gets

I don't understand what's the argument here. That fifa is realistic because the sassouolo defenders were terrible in a single clip?

Then that argument falls apart the moment I post a random clip of some fouls or successful tackles. That's so easy I can't even be bothered. Same logic.

Humans occasionally make mistakes, the AI is a program and it's consistent. It's consistently terrible at defending.

Or is it a PES vs Fifa thing? Personal opinion that will maybe annoy both fifa and pes fans (but i'm entitled to it), but both games have little to do with football, they get different things right or completely wrong. Choosing between the two is about what you enjoy the most and which flaws you're willing to tolerate.

So far neither game has convinced me to part with my money. Both could change that with the right patches.

Fifa is far from realistic! Farrr from !
Every game has 6 plus goals and even 10 goals where scored which proves its far from realistic.

Pes on the other hand offers a more realistic situation and ive been playing fifa for 10 years in a row now but this game should be called volta 20 because its up and down no build ups no midfield battles just counter vs counter and tricks vs tricks .
Fifa = arcade .

Guys, you are way too serious, I like Fifa and I like Pes, so I am not saying what is better, my post was intented as a funny one, I never liked the thing if you like Pes you hate Fifa and viceversa, I enjoy both games and by the way I am an offline player and love the Master league/career.

Just cool down and do the best out of both games, peace!

Each year i play both, and like the post earlier, i believe that both pes and fifa have their strong points and weak points, and are totally different. I haven't yet worked out which one I prefer for 2020.... I follow your posts Matt, especially your sliders thread and your twitch account and I've always wanted to ask you which game in 2020 do you prefer and for what reason? I suspect FIFA is your preference as you're heavily invested in sliders community. Having previously preferred FIFA for the past 3 years running, I'm slowly coming back to PES due to the obvious errors in FIFA career mode.

Just made the switch to PES this year. Bought Fifa the last 10-15 yrs. Gameplay combined with the option file makes it a great switch for me. Fifa stadiums and pre game presentation is way better but it boils down to playing the game and it's not close at least for me. Also the transfer system team management etc I am enjoying more on PES.
