It's me or its too easy to run after patch?

Anyone else sees this is it was just lucky games? i feel i can rush over 100yds every game now. This was not the case before patch.

With the new OL addition and run blocking changes this would make sense, i mean to see differences on the rushing game.

Yes, I had to stop playing on All-Pro, challenge was gone and no fun then went up to All-Madden and will report back, haven't played a full game on all madden yet.

The running game seems the same to me at least on all Madden anyway.

Is there any chance that you are starting to "get it" when it comes to running the ball?


What is it that seems easier? Better blocking? Broken tackles? Poor pursuit?


Running in Madden used to be a nightmare before 2011. Since then, schemes have been better coded into the game.


Be it real life of a video game, running is as easy as how well your blockers execute the play design, you runner having the vision to hit the hole and make people miss, and how well the defense fills gaps and tackles.


I do not play the current Madden, but I normally have to play on All-Madden with 0 user run blocking, 80+ speed threshold so that LBs are not burnt by backs to the sideline, and even then I can typically run all over the AI and human opponents.


Count the box, run to where you have the advantage, read the blocks and hit hat hole. Some plays will get blown up, some will spring you, but most will get you 3-6 yards if you execute properly and are running between the tackles/guards.

On default All-Pro, I regularly get over 300 rushing yards/game. I end up getting 2-4 75+ yard carries a game after a coffin corner punt or touch back.

It does seem easier, but not to where I can control the game with the run. I'm averaging about .7 ypc more, but still have some bad games and the cpu can blow up any given play.

The tosses seem nerfed, though. It seems the end defender on the line where the play is going always blows through immediately and is in the backs face as soon as he gets the toss. Also they appear to shift the camera so you can't see the defense on the toss side initially.
