Have they ever fixed franchise injuries? I use manage mode and the only injuries were in simmed games.

I know that Ranger Fan posted in the thread about the latest patch that he saw an injury will playing MoM in his franchise.

oh my god! an injury! you mean like a real sim baseball suppose to have! holly poop! i didn't think that happened in arcade baseball games! im almost gonna stop playing 18 and maybe play 19 again! injuries after addressing this problem for patch after patch after patch! i will never buy a first edition of this game again i will wait 12 months after it comes out at least, until the other game improves its graphics and there on there way! thank god! might have some competition then things might change for this game!

Slightly off topic, but talking about franchise injuries, sometimes our players get taken out of the game early do to injury, does that ever happen to the CPU?

Yes the CPU has players get injured in game

I have a suspicion that played games get less injuries in the first year. I remember in older versions of the game having players never get injured in a played game but now that I mostly play my 2014 carry over I have my fair share of in game injuries... And simmed ones. In fact rare had been the season where I didn't have the maximum number of people injured possible at some point during the season, and I have my injuries set to five.

I did have it set to 6 for a short time in 18 but had to change it back because it was causing league wide issues.

So maybe the issue had to do with how the engine calculates an injury, and you need multiple years for it to settle into a good pace. Just a guess though, I have no real evidence.
