Haven’t played NCAA 14 in a while but had the sudden urge to play. But was thinking about having the lowest rated team possible. So was thinking is it possible in the off-season cuts to cut all of you players then only be left with walk ons?

I know if you dont have enough players at a position it will fill with a walk on. Just can’t remember if it will let you cut players if it will take you under the minimum amount at that position.

I think I saw somewhere that you sim the first season, then change all the players to punter and cut them all.

I’ve never done it but I believe that’s how it is done.

Edit every player on the team to a senior (RS). Sim first season and they will all graduate at the end of the season. Team will be filled with a bunch of walk ons

Does anyone know if there is a difference between walk-ons on say Alabama and UMass? Are they all similar rated or would you get better walk ons on a 5 star school?

I can't confirm exact ratings, but having "coached" at both UMass and Clemson... The walk-ons are equally ****ty.

There was a poster here who did a death penalty Dynasty with Miami and used all walkons. He had some YouTube videos about it and I believe all his players were rated in the 40s. Seeing as that was with Miami, I am not sure it could get much worse than that!

Well. It can get much worse. Miami has good qualities so recruiting would be hella easier than say UMass or Idaho. That's kind of why when you do a 'Death Penalty' dynasty, you have to do it at a school with low C's and D's to ensure recruiting is more difficult.

Not necessarily. The poster who did the Miami dynasty used the editor to lower all of its attributes to C and D level. With the editor you could make any school a 1 star prestige school with C's and D's across the board so recruiting is really hard.
