Keep fighting the good fight on the "deep defensive line" and open space issues.

Sadly it does feel like a lot of the gameplay choices Konami have made are based on online user vs user gameplay, and those of us who prefer offline are left to (try to) fix the game ourselves.

Its hard to believe that PES is now lagging behind Fifa in Team Tactics. For the past several installments we have been stuck with only two Defensive tactics. It's time for a revamp the custom tactics as its severely dated.

Yeah. When I first started playing PES in 2011/2012 it felt like they were the strategic game and FIFA was just trying to make a game where players broke away with through balls every other possesion.

You know I will dub!

What's weird to me is that when you play online vs a random in PES they'll actually change formations/tactics in the gameplan section where as most of the time in FIFA randoms will just go straight into the match. It seems like the PES crowd want to use tactics but unfortunately A LOT of them don't make sense and Konami does a suspect job at explaining them.

Crazy right! To me, FIFA gets tactics right.

FIFA's Team Sheets > Loading your preset information in PES
FIFA Player Instructions > PES doesn't have any
FIFA switch on the fly for high press, team press, etc... > Non existent in PES apart from A/D levels

PES Fluid Formations > FIFA doesn't have any

One thing that's really missing from both games though is the CPU Manager AI actually using/switching based off the action on the pitch/injuries/form etc...
