No Huddle Runoff Question

Hey!

So with all no huddles theres automatically a runoff of a random time? Doesn't that get annoying late in the game?

I have not played the game yet and was searching for some clarity.

I found no problem with it. Seemed to vary among the distance of the play to where the new play was starting. Short plays had less run off than 40 to 50 yard no huddle. I think the longest I saw was 11 seconds?

Oh okay, But you don't see them rush to the line anymore right?

And any issues at the end of games?

Personally in the two minute warning, I'd rather see plays running to the LOS and the time run out than knowing there's an automatic runoff.

I would like to see the two minute with the players running. However in the last 5-7 years of NCAA and then Madden when physics came about, Ive had more issues with lineman glitching (not lining up, lining up on top of each other, getting stuck, not snapping, etc) than I’d like. I know of several instances in franchise/dynasty it’s cost me games. I’ve held on to time outs this season more though as I’ve been worried about that run off running the game out.

This was undoubtably made for the competitive gamers to avoid a visual disaster happening in a big time moment with money on the line.

Yeah it messed with my head anytime I was trying to run a legitimate hurry up offense. It's like you're racing against the clock, but the clock becomes an afterthought

To answer the OP's question at the top of the thread: the clock run-off isn't random, but rather it's based on how far away the furthest offensive player is from the spot of the ball for the next play.

They better bring huddle breaks/walk up back for at least sim mode in future games....it would be utter bs if we lost it forever.
