Welcome to my Madden 20 slider thread! I am sure most of you know me from my 2k sliders, however I do like to throw my hat in the ring with madden as well. I go 100% for sim gameplay. that is all i care about. These are designed to provide a realistic experience based on player ratings with as minimal boosting or nerfing of the cpu as possible to achieve desired gameplay.

HOUSE RULES

Spoiler

1. no user catching on offense or defense.

2. No Run/pass Commit

3. This 1 is crucial. dont abuse the cpu. if you know certain plays are money, dont call them all the time and say the game is too easy. play realistically


4. do not jump the snap

1. GO DELETE YOUR PROFILE.... if you haven't since the last patch.

2.when it pops up asking your preferred game style, select Simulation.

3. when it pops up asking your preferred difficulty, select Expert .

Main Menu Settings:

Player Speed Parity Scale: 45
Ball Carrier Moves: Manual

Next, lets head over to to Visual feedback, under the "on field" section, set everything to off with the exception of:
- franchise ticker
- player names
- pre snap menu

- Turn camera toggle off, passing camera off
- Offensive camera and defensive camera to Standard.

- We want a good on-field audio experience. so head over to volume control and set the following.

Master volume- 100
in-game commentary- 45
stadium speakers- 90
crowd volume- 65
on field- 40
menu music- 20
menu sfx- 100

Auto Subs:

We are going back to pure default here, everyone is 80/60

Main Menu Sliders:

Set all USER sliders to 0 EXCEPT for special teams.


Set all CPU sliders to 0 EXCEPT for special teams.


Main Menu Penalties


Max them all out to 100

Turn off Ineligible man down field (credit to Matt10)
Turn off Kick/catch interference
Turn off intentional grounding
Turn off roughing the kicker
Turn off running into the kicker


CFM Settings

1. Set the QB's sense pressure trait to IDEAL

2. Set the QB's force passes trait to BALANCED

3. Max out the QB's Carrying and ball carrier vision ratings.

4. Increase QB's break sack rating until their highest rated archetype is scrambler (if they are already a scrambler, no need to raise it)

QB Accuracy: 25/50
Pass Blocking: 25/50
Wr Catching: 45/55
Run Blocking: 5/90
Fumbles: 25/65

Pass coverage: 25/50
Tackling: 35/50

****side note- It is recommended after each game you back out to the main menu, reload into your franchise, reset and import and renter the sliders inside cfm***

Offsides: 70
False start: 70
Holding: 60

Proper Running back rotations

1. set your Starting RB in your depth Chart.
2. If your starting back is elusive/receiver, also make him your 3rd down back. if he is more power then also make him your power back.
3. Based on option 2, insert a different running back into either 3rd down back or Powerback.
4. this system works best if your starting back and power back are the same with your 3rd down back being different.

I recommend taking control of the CPU and doing the same for their depth chart. DO NOT RETIRE FROM THE CPU TEAM UNTIL AFTER THE GAME HAS BEEN PLAYED.

I can't stop robo qb on all madden. Tried a slider set off Twitter and Carr was 90% for 440 n 3. Any hope?

Same. Absolutely automatic. No drops, no inaccurate passes. WHY does this happen every year. Do the devs not play the game? Its beyond frustrating.

The issue is that user pass rush is non existent. 0 pressure to create those pressure throws that are off Target.

All-Madden is not meant to replicate real life, so slider adjustments are necessary if you prefer to play it instead of All-Pro. You've gotta drop QB accuracy, WR catching, and pass blocking for the CPU to 40
