Icon5 Need help. Start with a new team or stick it out?

I am in 2025 with the reds. My two big FA pick ups are Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Gary Sanchez. I made the playoffs back to back years and lost in the 1st rd in both. Should I get a new team to rebuild or keep on till I win a WS. If I do rebuild looking for a bad team with young stars with a great farm system. I will not be signing no FA's in my 2nd franchise just working with the farm teams.

I got GM contracts off. I am seeing alot of 90+ players killing rosters.....ya, I think I am going to go with a new team.

I've found that when I invest a lot of time into a franchise, and then start over with something else, I have a hard time getting reinvested into a new team and end up restarting a number of times (and sometimes never finding that good match and losing interest in the game overall).

If you're looking for a challenge to rebuild check out my team the Tigers. They have quite a few good pitching prospects but really nothing when it comes to positional players. This will let you mold their lineup to fit the way you like to play through the draft and strategically trading and signing FAs.

I don't have that problem with MLB because it's such a time investment to finish seasons so I usually only end up playing with 1 team. But I see where your coming from because I have the same issue with Madden. After putting a ton of time in to 1 franchise I'll end up starting about 4 or 5 others because I can't get settled with another team.

The massive amount of 90+ players is definitely a buzz kill. I have spent a lot of time in my 2026 Indians adjusting ratings across the league. The high amount of 85+ players is a side effect of rosters with a lot of A and high B potential.

Do a moneyball challenge franchise. I’m about to start mine with a max $41 mil payroll every season. Trick is, don’t beef up your team with underpaid studs around the league. Maybe put an OVR limit when you trade for someone.
