Cpu skipping player in rotation

I have a recurring glitch that also happened in the show 18. Not always, but sometimes when I send a pitcher down to AAA or AA the cpu will continually skip his start in the rotation unless I go and manually manage the game. Does anyone else have this issue?

Haven't seen it in 19 myself but I have in previous games, believe as far back as 16. It did seem hit and miss. Happened in some franchises I had going but not in others.

Yes. Sent Del Los Santos of the Phillies down to AAA; checked in on him 3 weeks later and he was still stuck at 7.0 IP for the LV Iron Pigs. Had to position him for a start in the rotation, then sim that exact game only, to have him pitch. When I'm just simming an entire org's day on the calendar is when it seems to skip him.

Is there a fix for this? I’m having the same issue and it’s incredibly irritating 😠
