This is my theory of how potential is laid out in the show.

Hitting:
PTL - OVR - AVG
80 90 .310
70 80 .290
60 70 .270
50 60 .250
40 50 .230
30 40 .210
20 30-0 .190-.150

Power:
PTL - OVR - HR
80 90 45+
70 80 35
60 70 25
50 60 20
40 50 15
30 40 10
20 30-0 5

Run:

Great theory. I am also attempting to come up with a “scale” for attributes but trying to scale it when guys have a small sample size, is harder. I am try to do a weight based scale which is all depending on games played and AB’s etc.

99 - 80
95 - 70
90 - 60
88 - 55
85 - 50
83 - 45
80 - 40
75 - 35
70 - 30
65 - 25
60 - 20

50 should be closer to 80 potential. That's an average grade and your average starter should not be 85 overall. Just my opinion.

98 - 75
94-97 - 70
92-93 - 65
90-91 - 60
87-89 - 55
82-86 - 50
78-81 - 45
75-77 - 40
71-74 - 35
66-70 - 30
