History of FCS teams in NCAA Football

Is there a list out there of all the FCS schools that have been included in every NCAA Football video game from NCAA Football 98 to NCAA Football 11?

If not, I'm interested in creating such list mainly because I would like to know which versions of the game have FCS schools that may be missing on other versions. For example, Hofstra, Northeastern, and ETSU are featured on NCAA Football 2004, but are missing from subsequent versions of the series due to the fact that these football programs had shutdown.

Not quite. Both school stayed in all the remaining PS2 games. If they had bothered to try to stay accurate with the FCS teams they should have removed both schools in NCAA '11 (representing the 2010 season). Also could have added a few more schools like Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, North Carolina A&T, Northern Colorado, North Dakota State, & South Dakota State. I certainly would have welcome more teams to choose from myself (that and getting rid of the mascot teams).

I’m not sure why the Patriot League was never added. Lots of history there with Lehigh and Lafayette, and co.

There really wasn’t much effort put into the PS2 series after 06/07. They never added the Dallas Cowboys stadium and Minnesota’s outdoor stadium, they stopped up****** a lot of art, uniforms got sloppy. It’s too bad because I prefer the way it plays and the recruiting.

One of the few things missing were coach ratings and a coaching carousel.
