How long is Franchise Mode? Years wise?

ive been thinking about buying 19 and a PS4 , I was just wondering how long the mode goes for? its says you can GM for the modes "entirety" is it like 25 years? I remember back on PS3 I think season mode didn't have a cut off. it just kept going, at least I think I did. I hate these caps. like Madden is only 30 yrs. NHL 25 yrs. NBA 80yrs. I just don't see the point after like year 23 if its capped at 25 why would care about younger draft picks etc... when it all ends. thanks for the input.
