2k20:Should have nipsey hussle as the cover artist

Can we vote to have nipsey hussle as the cover boy for 2k20? Simple. Also feature some of his best songs on the soundtrack.

I know a lot of y'all are not a part of the culture and just play the game, but for those of us who are deeply entrenched in the hip hop culture we lost a king and everyone in the basketball community looked up to Nip as a community leader despite his affiliation with the rolling 60's crew.

Before you shoot this idea down, remember if you're not a part of basketball community and hip hop culture your opinion is not viewed the same so please refrain from any negative comments.

This is purely coming from a place of respect and me figuring out a way that the 2k community can pay respect back to one our fallen brothers.

Being on the soundtrack would be nice.

Cover should be an nba player.

Quite curious on when you started listening to Hip Hop.

I'd say throw an NBA player on the cover but definitely throw hella music of his on the soundtrack.

Victory Lap was a F'n classic that arguably should've won Best Rap Album over Cardi B. Throw that whole album on there followed up by some of his older stuff.

It's in mourning.....for those of you old enough to be alive, its eerily reminiscent of when The Notorious B.I.G & Tupac Shakur were murdered. It's hard to watch young rappers in their prime getting senselessly killed without reaching their full potential. I can honestly say that whenever I listen to today's music I love the rhythm and feel music production is at an all time high, but a majority of the music lacks the messages and soul that the previous generation thrived in. Hip hop has always had people displaying fun, braggadocious rhymes about cars women and jewelry, but i guess the adulation of taking prescription drugs, women practically naked in videos, and the lack of originality that these mumble rappers display is a red flag that we need to steer the ship in the righr direction.

Nipsey Hussle, also not perfect by any means displayed signs that he was a torch bearer for this generation and could lea by example of how u turn a negative Into a positive with his entrepreneurship and endeavors in own community by investing in businesses and employing locals that would probably be forgotten by the system they were brought up in.

All in all he was a stand up dude and I feel the current state of hip hop feels cheated out of having to see the full potential of one of its greatest artist and human beings taken too soon. Out of respect for the community, I feel that if 2k is in touch with the culture as they shown throughout the years, then I think it's only right that we pay hommage to Neighborhood Nip. Hell...we could even incorporate his namesake or his likeness in the middle of the neighborhood instead of that Allen Iverson statue...or leave Allen and also add nip in there as well.

Rename the neighborhood...Hussletown

Basketball game covers are for basketball players.

Maybe a song or 2 on the soundtrack maybe even a RIP in the credits.

Did Nipsey even play video games like that? I don't think I ever saw him be an avid player like Game who is a huge 2K player.

Now if he was to pass he would have a mural in the neighborhood.

I feel ya.

They could add him to the mycareer story or make him the barber orso.
Would be cool.

Or give him a store where you can get certain things.

Nipsey was great for the community!
