Legend difficulty Show 19

Just wanted to know if anyone who played on Legend last year had to go back down to hall of fame difficulty this year? Last year I have played Legend default all season long and did fairly well. This year, Legend seems really difficult. I’m thinking about dropping back down to Hall of game. Pitch speed on legend is no joke this year for me. Maybe I’m just getting old. Lol

Actually I'm the opposite, I played on HOF last year and this year I'm playing on legend with max pitch speeds. As far as sliders are concerned, other than maxing both pitch speeds, I've lowered both human and cpu solid hits and pitcher control 1 click, raised both stealing sliders 1 click and upped injuries 4 clicks. The game plays so good out of the box this year.

I'm also playing Legend at pitch speeds at 10 same as last year. This year it is faster, took about 6 to 7 gsmes to adjust. Contact at 5, power at 5, timing at 4, foul at 3 and solid hits at 4.

Yes i am playing legend, just think that cpu contact and timing must be lowered in order to have strikeouts and some real difference between good and bad hitters (testing 1-4 and 2-3).

Have to decide also between power 6 and contact 3 or 5-4, i have played only 4 games but with power at 5 i have seen few hr and many doubles against the wall

Finally, cpu pitching set at 6 acc, 5 cons and 6 strike tendency, too many balls with default settings imo

This is me. I played legend all year but for some reason I just can’t hit. I’m thinking about dropping to to hof but I don’t want it to be too easy. Smh

Difficulty settings are weird from a couple of years, hof is quite too easy (2017 and previous were much harder) while at legend you need to lower cpu contact heavily otherwise all batters are ball seeking machines, including pitchers.

Almost found balance but still have to find the right cpu pitching sliders(testing 7 acc, 6 cons and strike)

Solid at 4 looks fine, what do you think about power? 6 seems better than 5, it punishes bad pitches as in real life but with realistic homers

Let me rephrase. I can pitch just find on legend. What I can’t do is hit on legend it seems. Smh

The computer makes way too much solid contact on legend. They drive balls with authority even when their PCI indicator is no where near the ball, never mind the fact their PCI is about the size of a grapefruit. I think this may finally be the year I adjust the sliders on legend. Dont think I can handle another year of watching the computers pitchers bat for average and spray hits all over the field.
