40 man roster

I am new to MLB the show and was wondering how you “promote” a player on your MLB 40 man roster to the bench in Franchinse mode. Thanks.

If he is on the 40 man and in the minors, you can add him to your MLB roster from the manage roster screen. Highlight the player of choice, then hit x, then you can select move to MLB. Same goes for demotions as well but vice versa.

Thank you for the reply but many of my players are on the MLB roster but I don’t see them on the bench. Is this a glitch?

Are you in spring training? If so, it is 40 man rosters in the majors at that time. They don't all fit on the screen at once.
