Nice article.
Sadly it sounds like they just threw this in to try and appease the 'WTF happened to franchise mode' crowd (of which I am one).
It just comes across like a half-assed mode. I mean no dynamic difficulty, really.
As I have zero interest in dynasty/online play, I'll not be buying this.

The article summed up a lot of my thoughts on this mode...lack of control/customization = very little appeal to me.

Same. It’s all I’ve played. No desire to go back to franchise. I have OOTP for that experience.

I like the idea that it's designed to really just be an "on the field" experience...like games were waaaay back in the day before lots of options and sliders, etc were implemented.**
I can see where the extra innings can be frustrating...there should have been an option to Sim to the end of a game.

Re: MLB The Show 19: March To October Impressions

Ive played a handful of games so far and Im really enjoying it.

The 1 thing though is the roster. Im using the Mets and its not even close to what the opening day roster is going to be. I understand about Alonso not being there. But they dont Nimmo, Rosario and JD Davis on the roster.

Hopefully I can beat the mode quickly with them to get their rewards and move on to using another team.

I like it a lot. It’s got some things that need some work obviously. But I can see this becoming a really awesome mode over the next couple years.
