Madden Uniforms

I wish the developers would include uniforms from every era for every team, home and away.

I would also like to see classic teams. 85 Bears, 92 Oilers, 78 Steelers, 91 Lions, etc.

The first one might be difficult because Nike has to have made the classic uniforms. Most of the teams didn’t have Nike. Nike can create classic uniforms and then it can come into the game.

The second one I don’t think won’t happen anytime soon due to EA I believe being sued because the ratings they were using to represent the fake players of classic teams from the old Madden games were similar to the real life players.

They can only replicate uniforms they have the licenses for. Uniforms designated as "classic" belong to the NFL. However, many past uniforms will belong to Reebok, Adidas or Wilson. They won't let Nike make them. The Niners went to a two stripe sleeve recently cos Adidas was not happy with Nike producing "their" logo.

Ah, that's insightful. I can't imagine how complicated this stuff gets for those who are in charge of the licensing end of things.
