Why Lando???

Why did they not add Lando vanatta into the game i know they got his Mo cap complete but instead add some bums that are not even real life fighters?

- EA has a marketing plan to entice long time FNC fans to buy the game.
- Its likely easier to upgrade two fighters who were in FNC than create a new fighter from scratch.
- EA likely feels that more people would be excited about Frost and Bishop than Lando.
- Just because someone does Mocap doesnt mean that he will be added to the game. Sim Bhuller and Kajan Johnson both did extensive mocap and were never added.

But we also hear this argument the other way around when people ask for things from older games to be implemented. Like that it's actually really difficult to implement stuff from older (previous gen consoles) games.

If this is actually the case, I can think of so many EA MMA fighters they could add.

What are you talking about specifically? Updating art likely isnt that difficult compared to adding a mode or a game related feature from a past game. For example during UFC 2, the team wanted to add a few of the FNC fight stances to the game but they couldn't because there were issues with them and the new animation system.

I've noticed looking through social media posts about this weekends card. There is sooooo much talk about Lando. No one cares that hes only won 1 of those fights. Everyone is just saying stuff like "Why isn't Lando on the main card" "1 of the most exciting fighters in the UFC" "Has never had a boring fight"..


I can start taking screen shots even, you see it on all the facebook/IG/whatever else posts. People love that dude. Win or Lose, hes a massive fan favorite.
