Draft Class - All Players 20 Yrs Old

Hi all,

Quick question about the draft class I've got loaded up for a new MyLeague. I loaded the top downloaded one (can't remember the name) and for some reason all the players in the draft class are set to 20 years old. I tried editing Zion, for example, and even though his date of birth is correct I can't lower his age. Any ideas what is going on and if it can fixed easily? It's not a massive issue for me, but I'm curious what's going on!

This is a known glitch that 2k has no interest in correcting. Seems to happen to me when loading a draft class mid season.

Another issue I’ve had with draft class is some players are just randomly a year older than they should be. For some reason when I load infamous’s draft class Zion is 19 right at the beginning and 20 by the time of draft, even though infamous has the correct age in there before loading it in.

These problems have been in the game since launch and every patch I check for a fix. I’ve given up.

If anybody has any workaround for these issues I’d love to hear them because I haven’t come up with any. (I only play myGM).

Thanks for the reply. And likewise I'd love to hear a reply. I know madden had an issue with draft classes where if you imported a draft class directly from the servers there was a similar glitch (can't remember exactly what it was) whereas if you downloaded them and saved them locally and then imported them in to franchise mode from your saved files, they were fine.

Not sure if this would solve the problem? I'd love to hear from people that have avoided this glitch to see if this is what they have done. Of course the question then is can you do this having already started a season? (I'm one game in so far so still early days).

I'm also curious as to what people do to work around this.

The draft class feature is one of the most broken things I've ever seen in a video game. Nothing works the way that it should. There's also a glitch where if you copy DNA for a player, they won't qualify for the rookie of the year (and will probably retire early) because their years pro is set to a random number


I think you just have to manually edit people after the draft, once they're all on teams. It's a lot of tedious, annoying work.
