Hey guys, just wanted to give some light to some unfairness I experienced. I'm not trying to stir up crap, but I'm annoyed because I legitimately am a friend, skilled contributor and I wanted to be a part of this community.

TheBleedingRed21 banned me from this "Official" discord for not going along with his rudeness, after I made a lighthearted joke that his channel "flame-wars" might be more pleasant if it was called "reasonable-conversation".

He said something like "I don't remember telling you I wanted your opinion". I basically said that he was rude (rightly so), and told him maybe he's going overboard.

He called me 16 years old and promptly banned me.

In actuality, I'm 31 years old, a US Army combat veteran, and a professional software engineer with 6 years of experience. I joined this community to make some new friends and be a solid contributor.

There is NO PLACE for him banning me for that. Absolutely none. You have only hurt your own community by cutting a valuable potential member like me out. I'm a good dude, who cares about others, loves to teach and learn. It was a real let-down that you quickly resorted to that.

I know that it's just a Discord and doesn't represent this site, (even though he calls it "Official") but it was detrimental to what we probably want to accomplish as a community, and it greatly discourages me from taking part.

I really apologize for the drama. I just felt like what happened wasn't in the community's best interest.

Sorry again to post this guys. I do not have the ability to PM yet, and honestly it's not like the forum moderators should/would care about his personal "official" discord.

Just wanted to put it out there because it was a real let down.

Lol this is my private community discord I created for all of us to enjoy. Not to listen to your constant snarky replies when I ask you to follow rules.

I mean.. if you call the guy who owns the channel derogatory names (or anyone for that matter), you’re gonna get banned. Common sense.

I had given you 3 warnings in two days. Your time was done. You literally are the 2nd or 3rd person I’ve banned since it’s been up that was for any other reason besides spamming. We have over 1100 members.

Anyone who has joined knows the help I provide and the work we’ve done for this community.

If you are rude to people ("I didn't ask for your opinion") you will piss people off.

That was very rude, no matter how you slice it. You need to acknowledge that. My indignant reaction would be expected from any reasonable person.

If you think I should have kept my mouth shut, then realize that you have prompted that only because you have the ban-button, and fail at human interaction.

It's just really ****ty and bad form as a community leader to use your admin powers like that, after you clearly are the one being negative and disrespectful.

You would be the one getting admonished if the forum had been anywhere but your personal Discord.

You banned me for having the balls to call you out for being rude and ridiculous.

Straight up, you are the one border-line breaking the community rules with your disrespectful attitude, if anything.
