What is the largest contract that you’ve ever given?

Chris Long resigned with me for 7yr/$86.4M ($12.34M/year average). Was just wondering what other huge contracts you guys have seen. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a resigned player go for over $10M/year.

Sad thing is I would take Campbell in the 2nd before DE Long (1st) everytime. Bigger, cheaper, DT/DE, 3-4 Or 4-3, and better production on field than Long that I've seen.

Funny thing is in this career I actually have both. They are a great team! I felt like Long was more consistent where he would make a TFL/Sack every handful of plays while Campbell would be hot/cold. Both would put up 10+ sacks each year.

Also, Go Bucs!

I read Into your bucs dynasty and enjoyed it. I admire your will to run the football and play defense. Idk about McFadden at QB but if it keeps the ship afloat 😂👍. I find that Campbell is best in 4-2-6. Speaking of the bucs, Campbell in Tampa with Adams is scary. You draft DT Rubin to add to that along with the blitzes of the 4-2-6 and just watch the magic happen.

I'm doing a titans franchise right now. Started in the off season. I traded QB Vince Young to the Broncos for DE Elvis Dumervil, Signed G Ben Knoll, and picked up a couple roster fillers but didn't do much. Got to the draft and landed Jerod Mayo at #23. Deshawn Jackson in the 2nd. I traded back in the third for some additional picks (4th and 6th I think) and landed Ray Rice in the late 3rd, drafted DT Athaya? Rubin and Andre Woodson in the 4th. I landed another really solid player in the 5th but I cannot remember who it was. 6th was K Alex Serna and 7th Xaiver Omon.

Honestly i might start over with another team because I've played certain teams alot but the draft talent I landed in the 08 draft has me questioning that.

I have seen some massive DT contracts but I refuse to pay that much for a position that typically doesn't make enough 'BIG' plays. The most I have paid per season is around $10 Million for David Garrard when I needed a QB for my Panthers dynasty but the guaranteed money was very low so I could get out of the contract at anytime.
