2K Devs: We can't play MyLeague Online games between 6 PM ET and 2 AM ET

So this is more of a plea than anything. I won't go into all of the issues MyLeague Online has, but I will note one critical issue:

Since Patch 4, we can't play one game between the times of 6 PM EST and 2 AM EST.

This means that we can't connect to another user. We normally get a consistent syncing message, or the league will freeze when an invite is accepted, or a user simply won't get the invite.


THIS IS HAPPENING TO MULTIPLE LEAGUES, NOT JUST OURS.



No matter what we try, one of the three outcomes listed above happens between those two times.



THE SAME THING HAPPENED AFTER PATCH 3, CAUSING US TO RESTART THE ENTIRE LEAGUE. We are simply too far in to do that again.



I've tried:



Tweeting the Devs: I understand that I haven't received a response yet. They get blasted with stupid tweets all day every day.



2k Support Ticket: They just sent me a generic support response telling me how to check my connection. It's not my connection as it happens to all 30 users and we are all hardwired (league requirement).


2k Live Chat: This was absolutely no help. It works for some issues, but not this issue. Even sent them a YouTube video of what happens and they said TO CHECK MY CONNECTION, even after explaining it happens to all 30 users.


Reaching out to Brian Mazique: He wrote an article in Forbes for me back when the game first came out. Most of the issues were fixed from that article, but new issues are now there. He said he would try to help, but says he doesn't have much pull.


Posting the issue to a Reddit User with a Direct Connect to 2K Devs: user yyy2k starts a feedback thread every year and sends requests directly to 2k devs constantly. I talked to him about this critical issue but states that he doesn't have much pull on what they fix.



At this point, we are out of options. This has been happening since the patch, so we are going on about 4 days now.



My plea is that I know there are OS members here that know some 2k devs. I know Da Czar used to be on OS as well. Please, if you have any resources that can be made aware of this issue, please help.

I'd like to further emphasize that this problem extends past playing user-vs-user games. I'm in a MLO with only 6 users, there are plenty of CPU games to play. But during these hours, we cannot even get a game in vs. the CPU. We can't sim games, we can't force a winner. We can't make a trade or make a signing. Sometimes we can't even get into the mode itself.

Yes, there is a separate thread about all of the bugs and glitches plaguing MLO (and there are many). But this deserves a separate thread. It's one thing for certain aspects of a mode to not work properly - the community that enjoys online leagues typically is great about creating house rules to work around these painful bugs. But it's absolutely unacceptable for a mode, that was hyped up to us pre-release, that so many of us bought this game (if not the early edition) for, to simply not work.

This needs to be in front of the devs, and this needs to be fixed. At the very least, they need to communicate with us that they know that this is an issue. Even saying "we know this is an issue, but we don't have the resources to fix it" would be more acceptable than silence, or blaming it on our connection.

We need to demand more.

UPDATE ON NOT BEING ABLE TO CONNECT ISSUE:



After being on live chat for about an hour, they sent me over the 2k forum to post the issue there. They said that this forum was created for devs to easily look at issues instead of being swamped with support tickets.



They asked that I post the issue and get people to state that they have the same issue as well to gain more attention. Please if you have the time, please sign up and simply say that our league is having the same issue. It doesn't matter if you are all in the same league, they just said to do it for attention so devs will prioritize it.

MLO is why I bought the game, they actually had the nerve to do a blog on this mode, unbelievable.

We are making progress. I'm going to do the traceroute test they suggested and give them their results. Tonight if anyone else wants to do one as well, just send me your stats and i'll send to them as well.

MLO is the main reason i bought it too. Myplayer gets so boring quickly, all these geesice, tryhards, looking dudes in the neighborhood are corny asf,
jordan rec is a mess and lets not even bring up pro am

My League is cool but the ai logic is still flawed

Same happening to us (22 league members) as described above. Just suspended our 3rd league attempt. I wonder if the you restart the league now that the patch is in effect, will it work correctly? any one tried?
