Ultimate Retro Roster for XBOX (WIP)

Hey everyone, I've been slowly working toward this project since launch. I'm happy to announce Ultimate classic teams roster that fills out the current historic teams in the game, as well as add on 35+ new teams for you to use.


I've done something similar to this the past two games, but all the new features such as player DNA has blown this project to even greater heights.


*This is more of a fun passion project for me, so not every team will be perfect from top to bottom*

I've gone solo on this project primarily so that I can work on my own time without expectations. I felt that there would at least be a portion of the community that would appreciate me releasing this for play or maybe so that you can add on to what I did.



Not all teams are done, but this the list of teams included:

-All base classic teams will be filled out with important players (and filled to 14), improved, and usable except for the following changes:

• 1985 Bucks may be converted to '84
• 1998 Spurs are now the '99 Team
• 2001 Lakers are now the '00 Team
• 2008 Nuggets are now '07
• 2012 Knicks will be the 2013 Team
• 2013 Heat may change to '14 for Beasley and Oden

Here is the list of teams that are added plus their location on the roster:

• 1993 Suns- All-time Suns

• 2000 Indiana Pacers- All-time Pacers
• 2001 Bucks- All-time Bucks
• 2002/3 Magic- All-time Magic
• 2003 Wizards- All-time Wizards
• 2006 76ers- Current 76ers
• 2005/6 Wizards- Current Wizards
• 2006 Clippers- Current Clippers
• 2006 Mavericks- Current Mavericks
• 2009 Magic- Current Magic
• 2010 Hawks- Current Hawks
• 2010 Cavaliers- Current Cavaliers
• 2010 Bobcats- Current Hornets
• 2010 Jazz- Current Jazz
• 2010 Suns- Current Suns
• 2011 Celtics- Current Celtics
• 2011 Heat- undecided
• 2011 Trail Blazers- Current Trail Blazers
• 2011 Grizzlies- All-time Grizzlies (may change)

Obviously, this has a very "2000s vibe" to it, which probably is not very attractive to older retro fans. That's why I thought I'd release the roster even though it is unfinished, so you can add any teams you'd like with the open slots or overwrite the ones I have added. Most of the 1990s and earlier teams are done. The more recent teams are still a ways away from completion.


There is definitely room for more 70s/80s/90s teams that I may add eventually.



If anyone feels like they want to help, it is not necessary (I have used plenty of the community's CAP creations for the roster, you have helped already).



A fair amount of teams have their correct coach, but I haven't edited contracts for every team. This is mostly for play now or season mode, but with some tweaks and removal of free agents, it could be myleague ready.

Awesome, thank you! I will check this out after work. Hopefully this roster has some players I'm missing from my 2002-03 roster! I'm like 30 players away from being able to start MyLeague with it. I can't wait!

Most of the regular classic teams that are already in the game are done (need to add a player or two to 71 Bucks, 77 76ers, 85 Bucks, 99 Spurs, 99 Knicks, 04 Wolves, 04 Lakers, 06 Grizz, 08 Hornets, 12 Thunder, and 13 Heat).

A lot of the new classic teams are done except for th 2010+ teams.

If you go to a team and most of players are there, but the ratings are off, it means I’m not quite done with them.

If you search my gamertag, I have a 2010, 2011, and an nearly complete 2007 Roster uploaded that might have some players you need. You might have to search around for the teams because I used the classic teams for some of it for the jerseys and courts.

Celtic, are you planning on sharing that roster here? I’m looking forward to playing some of these
