Was its just a commentary error or did you not even get the 3 points on the board? Ive seen many commentary errors like every time I throw and INT they say "This is what happens when you have someone else OTHER than the quarterback throwing the ball"

If they just said that wrong thing thats cosmetic and should be fixed, but if you didnt get the 3 points added to the score thats a much bigger coding issue.

It wasn’t this madden but madden 18 where I kicked 2 field goals in different games that hit the crossbar and bounced out, yet still rewarded me the 3 points. Funny enough one of them was against a real person and it made the game feel way less authentic. Luckily I won by more than 3 so it didn’t feel like cheating as much.

Did you get the points for it? I think I once got a FG made and they said I didn't, but I got the points. It was either that or on a reviewed play the commentators said I didn't catch the touchdown, but the ref said I did and I got the points. Can't remember which one it was.

I geuss MLB got rid of Angel Hernandez after that playoff game so he went over to the NFL to be a ref/official over their instead and he ended doing that game.
