Week 4 Discussion

Still recovering from last weekend on my end, it was brutal and a blast at the same time. Thankfully we get a nice relaxed tailgate before Tech Saturday. As such, I'll be out of the office this weekend so y'all boys behave.

Re: Week 4 Discussion

Too bad Scott Frost isn't still leading UCF into battle...otherwise this week's FAU-UCF game would be a new NCAAF record for the most punchable faces coaching in one game.

TAMU played Clemson really well, so this should be a good test for Tua and Co. Looking forward to this one.

Re: Week 4 Discussion

I remember when Tennessee-Florida was - if not the biggest game of the season - at least the biggest game of September. Now it's a battle to see who stinks less.

No matter if it was Fulmer, Kiffin, Dooley or Jones coaching, Tennessee has always played tight in this game. I'm hoping Pruitt can at least change that.

Re: Week 4 Discussion

It'll be interesting to see how hard FIU plays for Butch gonig up against his old school. I know Davis was a God that somehow got the Browns into the playoffs, but I feel this game may make him think about some of the decisions he made. He'd probably have 3 or 4 rings at least had he stayed at Miami and continued to evaluate and develop at the elite level he did.

If Miami doesn't roll this game, it'll be disappointing. Needs to be such a blowout the young QBs are in there early and getting more reps than just handoffs and kneels. All depends on how Rosier plays.

Re: Week 4 Discussion

Could this be a trap game for Penn State? Friday night at lowly Illinois? With Ohio State waiting next weekend? Kinda the definition of a trap game. Plus, Lovie Smith's beard is a veritable 12th man for the Illini.

Would it be that surprising if they lost? Outside of Saquon carrying them last year they've been meh under Franklin constantly. One of the most overrated coaches in the nation.

Also, still can't believe so many people are Penn State fans. Whenever I see their gear out in person I just shake my head. If Miami ever got caught with what they did I would burn everything related to the program I had and just watch the rest of the country and not have a favorite team anymore.
