In working on my CAPs and custom rosters, I put together a list of all of the changes to the all-time team rosters from 2K18 to 2K19 so I could sort out who was added to the game this year and who is now missing. Figured this list might be helpful to others in making their own rosters. For the players removed from all-time teams, I've noted if they are available elsewhere in 2K19 or not in the game this year. If a franchise isn't listed below, it's because they had no changes to their all-time team roster.

Deron Williams, Chris Bosh, Monta Ellis, Ron Artest/Metta World Peace, Roy Hibbert and Mike Miller are also removed from classic teams. So it looks like they are gone due to retirements and licensing agreements not being in place.

Also, Hal Greer and Connie Hawkins are gone this year. Both of them passed away in the last year and so, just like Moses Malone missing from 2K18, they probably did not get licensing agreements in place with their heirs/estates in time.

Most of the classic players added this year are improvements over the guys they replaced who are also in the game elsewhere anyway. The new classic guys this year include: JoJo White, Emeka Okafor, Hot Rod Williams, Bingo Smith, Brad Davis, James Donaldson, Purvis Short, Moses Malone, Rudy Tomjanovich, Elton Brand, Bryant Reeves, Junior Bridgeman, Marques Johnson, Tom Gugliotta, Richie Guerin, Scott Skiles, Bobby Jones, Walter Davis, Charlie Scott, Alvan Adams, Dick Van Arsdale, Brandon Roy, Maurice Lucas, Geoff Petrie, Jim Paxson, James Silas, Johnny Moore, Thurl Bailey, Truck Robinson and Phil Chernier.

This is a great list! Glad I found it. I was looking for Rex Chapman to create a 90's Bullets team.
