MyLeague player thinking of getting into MyCareer

Hello all,

I don't normally play the MyCareer mode, but the story for 2k19 looks pretty interesting. I'm just concerned with the rep 2K has now for being "pay to win" or being overly grindy.

My question is, if I have no intention of playing online, is MyCareer a good enough singleplayer/offline experience by itself? Will I be able to advance or level up reasonably well without paying real money?

May be a simple question, but would appreciate the feedback.

You'll be fine. It's still fun even if you have no intention of playing with others.
