How do I make a MyLeague with fewer teams? Can you not do it anymore?

Just got a 2K game for first time in a few years. Back in like 2k16 and before, you could make a MyLeague with like 8 teams, 4 teams, etc. It was great for doing leagues with friends and letting them each control a team and we'd always face each other. I'm not seeing the option to decrease the number of teams, you can only add teams. Any help??

I don't think you can anymore. I've been fooling around with the mode all week and I haven't seen the ability to do so. IIRC, MyLeague got overhauled in 2k17 or 2K18. It sucks, but it probably has to do with how games are scheduled.

If someone here finds out how, LET US KNOW. I want to do a celebrity league which is possible now with the new CAP system, but filling a whole 30 teams is too much work.

Ah man that really sucks. I can't even use a custom roster for the new playoffs mode.
